What:   Run a marathon on a certified course in mystical Marathon, Texas, the gateway to Big Bend. Events include the Marathon, Two-Person Relay, and a 10K fun run. Where:   The Marathon and Two-Person Relay begin in Alpine, Texas and finish in Marathon, Texas. The 10K will begin and finish in Marathon, Texas. Packet Pick-up   Friday, October 17th from 12 pm to 8 pm on the Patio at the Gage Hotel.  At the Marathon start line on Saturday, October 18th from 6:30 am to 8:00 am in Alpine, TX. Amenities:   All participants will receive an event T-Shirt and post race refreshments. Marathon Finishers will receive a finishers medal. Early reservations for lodging is recommended. Lodging List  Post Race Party   Saturday evening from 6pm till late.  Hosted by the Marathon Motel and located at their beautiful patio plaza.  Food, drinks and fantastic music by Posum Phatt. Everyone welcome.  The awards ceremony will also be hosted prior to the music.
